An original IA song by Jin. This is the opening theme to the Kagerou Project, and its theme is "A story of showing them what we've got." Lyrics and melody lines from the other Kagerou Project songs are scattered all throughout.
The PV is by Shidu. Unlike Shidu's other PVs, this one is animated, and gives a sense of Shidu's growth as an illustrator. All the characters who have previously appeared in the series show up here, along with new characters. According to Shidu, this PV is directed in the style of an anime opening. As such, we shouldn't believe everything in this PV as true.
The song garnered so much attention, the PV got 10,000 hits within 20 minutes, and 18 hours after its upload, it already had 100,000 hits.
On August 15, 2012, this song was included on a single of the same name. A slightly remixed version is included on the album Mekakucity Records. In addition, it was the most popular Vocaloid song in April!
Characters
As written before, this PV features all the characters who had appeared in previous Kagerou Project songs, plus new characters who first appeared in Children Record. However, there are two whom it is difficult to judge whether they are new or not. Currently, they are believed to be one each of the former and latter.
- Red Crescent Moon Marie
When Marie appeared in Souzou Forest and Kisaragi Attention she was very shy and hesitant, and was only open with Seto and the other members of the Mekakushidan.
However, in this PV, Marie has narrowed eyes, and a deep red, cold gaze that one could never imagine of the Marie we know. The story that has not yet been released may spark some kind of change in her.
He only appears in the PV for a few seconds, but he is already so popular that there are many illustrations of him. Fans call him Dark Konoha. According to Shidu's official illustrations posted on Twitter, his eyes are yellow.
We can only see him from the back, but his hair and the parts of Konoha's clothes that were white are black on this character. From the profile we see of his face, he is smirking, and it seems plausible that he will be an important key character in the story to come.
