The McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II is an American made redesign of the original British Harrier I. The Harrier II added new features including the ability to carry the AGM-65 Maverick anti-tank missile and the GAU-12 Equalizer 25mm cannon. The AV-8B saw major action in the Gulf War, Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
