The 1991 Gulf War (also known as Operation Desert Storm in the US and the 2nd Persian Gulf War) is a conflict that occurred after the Invasion of Kuwait in August 1990. The conflict saw the first large-scale use of cruise missiles, stealth aircraft and other advanced weapon systems.
