Overview

Asuna Kagurazaka (神楽坂 明日菜, Kagurazaka Asuna), full name Asuna Vesperina Theotanasia Entheofushia is the co-lead character from Negima! Magister Negi Magi. She is part of class 2/3-A and the first female character connected to her teacher Negi Springfield. According to Negi, she has an atmosphere similar to that of a older sister.

Since she has no parents, the headmaster of the school pays her tuition and other expenses, and she takes a part-time job delivering newspapers early in the morning in order to pay back the school expenses.

Appearance

She has long orange hair, which she wears in ponytails with a bell-shaped hair ornament. Early designs had her with thicker ponytails and without her hair ornaments. She has heterochromia where her right eye is green and her left eye is blue.

Personality

Her personality is energetic and strong. At the beginning of the story, Negi thought she was violent and outlawed, but that seems to have been resolved later. She also has a slightly tsundere side. Although she professes to hate kids, she is in fact a very caring big sister.

She is an excellent athlete, but she is not very good at studying, and is even considered one of the Baka Rangers.

However, she is basically a sensible girl, and is often seen berating or appalled by her classmates who are making a fool of themselves.

Artifacts

Bellatrix Sauciata

Ensis Exorcizans is the name of Asuna’s artifact. It's a excellent sword in its own right, capable of splitting the ocean for a distance of 10 meters with a single swing, and of striking three people in its line of fire, and boasts a sharpness that can sever even the gadgets of enemies with magical power or energy.
