BB Cookie Theater (BBクッキー☆劇場, BB kukkī☆gekijō)is a generic term for MAD videos created using Cookie☆ character materials. The BB stands for blue background (as in a background for chroma keying).
Like BB Senpai Theater, the story is composed by moving blue screen and green screen materials of characters appearing in Touhou voice dramas like a puppet show. Along with the revitalization of Cookie☆ fan works, the number of audio and animation materials has increased dramatically, spurring the popularity of this genre.
