Overview
Global Cookie (グローバルクッキー☆, gurōbaru kukkī☆) is the generic name for Cookie☆ related content developed outside of Japan. The Internet is connected to the rest of the world, which is why Nico Nico Douga memes and content that were thought to be unique to Japan are popular in other countries as well, Cookie☆ is no exception.
Basically, the term refers to Cookie☆ related works such as full-length videos and MADs created under the initiative of a person outside Japan. If a work was created by a Japanese person and a foreign person was involved, it is not treated as a Global Cookie.
In China, it is particularly active, and MAD joint productions are also held.
The sisterhood order of the Kuso RIM family was created in China, which is a well-known meme in the Cookie☆ community in Japan.
On the surface, however, relations between Japan and China appear to be better than elsewhere in the Cookie☆ community, but surprisingly there are many people with anti-Chinese beliefs, and many of them do not like China's involvement in Cookie☆, calling Chinese people "hitchhiking shitty Chinese bastards" (便乗糞中国人野郎, binjō kuso Chūgokujin yarō).
