Overview
Greek mythology (ギリシャ神話, Girisha shinwa) is a compilation of various folklore passed down through the various peoples of ancient Greece and tells the story of creation and the gods and heroes. It consists of numerous stories passed down orally since the 15th century B.C. It is also strongly influenced by Mesopotamian and Egyptian mythology. Many of the stories are strongly influenced by Mesopotamian and Egyptian mythology, and there are many episodes that do not fit the timeline and different theories (e.g., the end of Atlas).
