    Houbunsha (芳文社, Hōbunsha) is a Japanese publishing company headquartered in Bunkyo, Tokyo.

    Its predecessor, Shobunkan, was founded in 1946, and Houbunsha was established in 1950 as a successor to Shobunkan.


    Currently, the company's main focus is on manga.

    Since 1956, the company has published a weekly manga magazine, Weekly Manga Times.
