The Shenyang J-8 Finback is a Chinese interceptor that first flew in 1969 but didn't enter service until the early 1980s. The original J-8 had a nose reminiscent of the MiG-21 Fishbed while other variants of the Finback have a newer nose based off the MiG-23MS Flogger
