Overview
Kamome Shirahama (白浜 鴎, Shirahama Kamome) is a Japanese manga artist that graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Department of Design. He made his debut as a manga artist with Harta's Eniale & Dewiela. Also worked as a freelance illustrator, doing illustrations, etc., and was in charge of manga-styled variant covers for Marvel Comics. He has also created covers for DC Comics, Star Wars, and other American comics.
He has also serialized Witch Hat Atelier in the Monthly Morning Two magazine. It won the 2020 Eisner Award for Best Asian Work. In the same year, it won the Harvey Award for Best Manga.
