Overview
Mamimi Samejima (サメジマ・マミ美, Samejima Mamimi) is a 17-year-old high school girl who accompanies Naota in any way she can. She speaks with a unique tone, adding "isu" at the end of words. Despite being underage, she is a chain-smoker.
She was in a relationship with Naota's older brother, Tasuku, but was practically heartbroken when Tasuku found a new girlfriend while studying abroad. Perhaps because of this, she often acts and behaves in a desperate manner, and she often pesters Naota, calling it "fun".
Because of her somewhat unusual personality, she has a lonely side, and is severely bullied by her classmates, leading her to set fire to an elementary school. It was also the arson incident that brought her into contact with Tasuku. She enjoys photography, and in the second episode he uses an Olympus camera.
