Overview
Moetron, KimeKona (キメこな), or KimeKona-chan (キメこなちゃん) is a Futaba Channel (and some 4chan) community made chimera of anime characters.
History
She was made on Futaba Channel for Konashine (こな死ね), a troll that vandalizes Lucky Star threads saying "Die! Konata…Die!" on every image of Konata Izumi. To make fun of him users made many mashups of Konata and other moe characters to test how much "Konata essence" was needed to stimulate his emotion. These series of mashups is called "konachan", "konachan!" or "konachang!".
Sometime after the troll was gone she was established as KimeKona, an abbreviation for Kimee Konata (きめぇこなた, "Creepy Konata") or Kimera Konata (キメラこなた, "Chimera Konata"). This also lead to a Konata template meme of characters drawn in the same composition called KonaCora (こなコラ, "Konata Collage").

4chan
Overtime the character started to spread on 4chan. She was given the name Moetron on May 7th 2010, making that her birthday on 4chan.
Appearance
One of the first mashups mash together Konata (right half) and Kana Ikeda (left half) from Saki. Now the character is a mashup of the ones said before, Hatsune Miku, Ika Musume, Erika Kurumi, Shizumori Erika (Gretel), Kudryavka Noumi, and more.
Chaos*Lounge Incident
In the Chaos*Lounge Incident, Moetorn images on Futaba Channel were stolen, and this was mentioned in a message from the pixiv office to Comiket 80 art book participants, which is also linked to this article (Message to Artists Who Submits Artwork For Comiket 80 Related Artbooks).
However, the message was misleadingly written as if only Moetron images were stolen (in fact, many pixiv-posted pictures were also affected), and some people criticized the message, even though it was probably written while they were busy making inquiries.
