Some of my elders say I'm difficult to control, like a wild animal. But don't you think it's kind of an issue that they'd want to control how other people think in the first place?

Overview
Sethos is the leader of the Temple of Silence and a former vessel of Hermanubis. Sethos loves to help people and always accepts any request, even if it is trivial. Although he just wants to live a simple humble life, he is willing to help others without expecting payment.
Sethos is confident in his work and easily gets along with everyone. Despite being so talkative, he is also particularly skilled in keeping secrets. Sethos doesn't like to care about drama and is always expanding his views, that's why he doesn't like outdated views because, to him, people seem too stubborn to change their views.
Talents
- Normal Attack: Royal Reed Archery
Behind you!
Normal Attack: Combo up to 3 consecutive shots, dealing Physical Damge.
Plunging Attack: Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground and deals AoE Damage on impact.
Charged Attack: Sethos executes a more precise Aimed Shot that deals increased Damage. The shot has different effects depending on how long the charging lasts:
- Charge Level 1: Fires off an Electro-infused arrow that deals Electro Damage.
- Charge Level 2: Fires off a Shadowpiercing Shot that can pass through opponents and dealing Electro Damage to all enemies in its path (Sethos will not be able to move around when Shadowpiercing Shot is fully charged).
- Elemental Skill: Ancient Rite: The Thundering Sands
Way ahead of ya.
Excuse me!
Gimme some space.
Ain't done yet!
Where ya' goin'?
Sethos fires concentrated lightning to deal AoE Electro Damage, then dashes backward. He recovers a set amount of Energy if this attack triggers an Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Quicken, Aggravate, Hyperbloom, or Electro Swirl reaction.
- Elemental Burst: Secret Rite: Twilight Shadowpiercer
By the sages' wisdom.
Glory to Al-Ahmar!
Move, or be moved!
Sethos enters the "Twilight Meditation" state, which transforms his Normal Attacks into Dusk Bolts. Dusk Bolts can pass through enemies and deal Electro Damage to all enemies in their path. Damage dealt is increased based on Sethos's Elemental Mastery (Sethos cannot use Aimed Shots while in this state). Dusk Bolt Damage is considered Charged Attack Damage. The state ends when its duration expires or Sethos leaves the field.
- 1st Ascension Passive: Black Kite's Enigma
The charging time of Sethos's Aimed Shot will be reduced by 0.285 seconds for each point of Elemental Energy he has (Charging time can be reduced to a minimum of 0.3 seconds through this method and a maximum of 20 Energy can be tallied).
If he fires a Shadowpiercing Shot, he will consume the corresponding quantity of Elemental Energy. If he fires an arrow at Charge Level 1, he will consume 50% of the tallied amount of Elemental Energy.
- 4th Ascension Passive: The Sand King's Boon
Sethos gains the "Scorching Sandshade" effect, which increases Damage dealt by Shadowpiercing Shots by 700% based on his Elemental Mastery. The "Scorching Sandshade" effect will be canceled when:
- 5 seconds after the first Shadowpiercing Shot strikes an enemy.
- after 4 Shadowpiercing Shots have hit enemies.
The effect is regained after 15 seconds has passed since the first Shadowpiercing Shot with "Scorching Sandshade" has hit an enemy.
- Utility Passive: Thoth's Revelation
When Sethos is in your party, the location of resources unique to Sumeru will appear on your mini-map.

About Other Characters
This part is about what Sethos thinks about the other characters in Genshin Impact.
Cyno is truly outstanding — absolutely a worthy heir to Henrmanubis's power. As General Mahamatra, he has the utmost reverence for knowledge and wisdom. If the Akademiya and the Temple of Silence do start working together again, I'll take comfort in the fact that he's there.
Oh yeah, and another great thing about Cyno: You know the way he talks? It's just... so funny.
Tighnari's made of strong stuff. I only found out after the fact that he doesn't cope well with the desert climate — never would've guessed from how he performed in the Rite of Duels. I was also surprised when he sent me a letter inviting me to visit Gandharva Ville, saying it would be a good chance to meet some of Cyno's friends. Are those guys always such a hoot with their jokes? Dinner with them must be hilarious — I can't wait!
Who is that guy, anyway? A foreign exchange student, or something? He has a pretty incredible hat, never seen anything like it. I tried to get a closer look once, but then I blinked and he was gone. Shame. I won't let him get away next time, though. I also hear he has some pretty interesting ideas... Gotta have a chat with him sometime!
I saw those two at the tavern once. And another time at the cafe. ...Actually, I think I saw them once at the Grand Bazaar, too. The architect guy, he's always talking in a hushed tone — I guess he doesn't want people to hear, but uh... Okay, it's not like I purposely listen in, it's just... Something about those two guys hanging out together, you just can't look away.
Flame-Mane... everyone in the desert knows that name. The Eremites aren't exactly saints, as I'm sure you know, but Dehya's one of the few solid and dependable ones out there. If you ever want to explore the Great Red Sand, Dehya's the second-best guide you could ask for. First-best being me, obviously.
It's so rare to meet someone even more chummy than me! One minute I was taking a stroll near the Akademiya, the next minute she'd taken me on as a student, and was insisting on giving me a tour. She gave me a real fright, though, because she said that if I joined Haravatat, I'd get the 20-tongues language-learning package, mastery of all 100% guaranteed... I asked around, and it seems like that's just an in-joke among Akademiya students — there is no 20-language graduation requirement after all. But I don't get it... how is that funny? It's only gonna put people off studying there.
I usually can't stay still for more than a few minutes, but Zubayr Theater is one place I don't mind just standing and watching while Nilou dances on the stage. It's a rare skill to be able to bring people such a sense of peace.
Have you ever experienced Candace's hospitality? She cooks very generous portions — even I could barely finish. So long as you're on the receiving end of her hospitality and not her wrath, you'll live a long and happy life.
