The Cat Mario Show
The Cat Mario Show or Meow Meow Meow! Cat Mario Time (ニャニャニャ! ネコマリオタイム, Nyanyanya! Neko Mario Taimu) was a video game information video platform that Nintendo use to distribute every other Wednesday via Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Nintendo eShop.
In the video series puppets of Cat Mario and Cat Peach tell you about the game news and the best deals on Nintendo games.
After the 167th episode, which was broadcast on December 10, 2021, no new broadcasts were made, and by the end of December 2022 (exact date unknown), all official broadcasts, including those on Nintendo's official YouTube channel, were no longer viewable.
The voice actors for the puppets have not been revealed at all. Episodes similar to those in Japan were distributed outside of Japan with their own dubs (also not credited). There are a few versions that don't have dubs though but subtitles.
Cat Mario
The host of the show. He has several personal lives (a possible reference to the term of a cat having nine lives?).
Cat Peach
Assistant, who is fond of saying "Unbelievable!", her favorite phrase and a running gag on the show. As of the 50th episode, she has said it 130 times.
Link
A semi-regular character on the show who suddenly appears from the bottom of the screen. In the Japanese version he speaks with the verbal tic "deyaa," a mix of Link's yell and the Japanese sound of a cat meow.
Captain Toad
He helps out on this show. He's so bad at games that people suspect he's trying to get in on the show on purpose.
Pixel Luigi
He appears somewhere at the end of the show to be looked for. This most likely comes from of the many easter eggs of hidden pixel Luigis in Super Mario 3D World.
