Overview

Touhou altered characters (東方改変キャラ, Tōhō kaihen kyara) takes mainly the sprites from the Touhou Project doujin games made by Twilight Frontier. The characters of Immaterial and Missing Power, Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, and Touhou Hisoutensoku have been changed in color and partially rewritten.

Modifications that are based on original works are occasionally voiced by male characters from other fighting games (e.g., Hakurei Toki).

Although the Touhou modified characters have gained a character image separate from the original and have their own individual fans, be careful about taking them outside of MUGEN.
