VFA-102 Diamondbacks is a US Navy Strike Fighter squadron is currently based in Japan. The squadron was formerly known as VF-102 before moving from the F-14 Tomcat to fly the F/A-18F Super Hornet in 2003, thus becoming VFA-102. That same year, it moved to Japan to replace VF-154 and was assigned to CVW-5.
