Overview
A wiki is a type of system (content management system) that rewrites hypertext documents on a server using a browser (web browser) on a PC (personal computer) or smartphone (tablet). Or, it refers to the software itself used in the system or the entire website created using the system.
A content management system is a system widely used for website management and blogs, etc. A wiki differs from other content management systems in that it is designed to allow anyone to rewrite documents on the assumption that an unspecified number of users will collaborate to create content.
