Overview
Jirai Kei (地雷系 lit. "landmine-type") is subculture and/or fashion trend in Japan that appeared around the 2020s. The term is used to describe people who "tends to be trouble." In other words, it may describe people with an attractive appearance, but may turn out to cause trouble — as if it's like stepping into a landmine.
The fashion outline of Jirai Kei is mostly based around lolita and kawaii styles. Their general colors range around dull colors such dark black to saturated grey and accompanying colors such as pink.
