Overview
On December 16, 2010, Nekota created a template which its intention is to gather artists around pixiv to post their art progress for the past 10 years. It has since turned popular in the site and has gathered 3937+ submissions as of July 27, 2011.
While the main template has 10 years (2000 - 2009) worth of blanks to fill in, it is however unnecessary to fill in exactly each of your progress for the past 10 years; It is neither a standard nor a minimum requirement for anyone to participate. Some actually left a few blanked out due to :
1) The artist itself did not start drawing until later, or has been drawing for lesser than 10 years.
2) Might have drawn for 10 years or longer but couldn't find their past data, or is too shy to show their old works.
And many more.
Even if it's not 10 years, the "10 Years Evolution Record" tag is used when submitting one in order to maintain consistency.
