Yaruo (やる夫, やるお) is an ASCII art character popularized on 2channel and the Internet and is used often as a character in Yaruo threads, a type of thread for online stories (such as Goblin Slayer, a work that started in these threads). Fanart of the character usually relates to one of these many works.
