Wacky Races

Wacky Races (チキチキマシン猛レース) is an animated TV program that was produced by American animation production company Hanna-Barbera.

Overview

Wacky Races (へんてこりんなレース), known in Japan as Chitty Chitty Machine Fierce Race (チキチキマシン猛レース, Chiki Chiki Machine Mō Race), is an animated comedy about automobile racing, first broadcast in the U.S. in 1968 and in Japan in 1970 with 34 episodes made. 11 distinctive cars compete for position on a different course each week. Dick Dastardly, driver of the Mean Machine, and his partner Muttley (the dog), set up all kinds of silly traps, but they always end up in last place due to their daily activities and lack of precision, which is the promised end result every time. The basic line is the comic dialogue between the Dick Dastardly and the actual situation.
