Overview編集

Chip (チップ Chippu) is a character that followed Sonic during the events of Sonic Unleashed. Due to not knowing his name the name Chip was given by Sonic for convenience, based on a special chocolate chip sundae sold at a street vendor.

Background編集

He met Sonic by chance when he fell from space after being transformed into a werehog by Dr. Eggman's trap, but the impact of the collision with Sonic caused him to suffer amnesia, and he began to search for his memories while traveling around the world with Sonic.

Appearance編集

Chip is an anthropomorphic creature that looks like a small chihuahua and fairy, with reddish-purple fur, green wings and a collar with a green orb. Incidentally, the hair on his head is officially called whip.

Personality編集

The way he speaks in the Japanese version is boyish, but the overseas version gives quite a different impression with a slightly raspy voice.

He has a natural disposition and is so friendly that he and Sonic immediately get along well with each other. Chip is quite a gourmand, he hates to go hungry and even says, "I would rather die than go hungry".

Abilities編集

He has mysterious powers, such as producing a light barrier and activating the pedestal that houses the Chaos Emeralds in the Temple of Gaia.......?
