Werehog

Sonic the Werehog (ソニック・ザ・ウェアホッグ Sonikku za Weahoggu) is a nighttime transformation of Sonic the Hedgehog from Sonic Unleashed. The energy of Dark Gaia, which was released when Dr. Eggman broke open the planet where Sonic and his friends live, has a mental effect on people by bringing out the darkness in their hearts. But in Sonic's case, his heart has no two sides, and as a result of being exposed to Dark Gaia's energy up close, he is affected physically, not mentally. As a result, Sonic's constitution changes into a wolf-like form at night.
