Overview
Nicky (ニッキ, Nikki) is the main character of the Sonic the Hedgehog manga published by Shogakukan where Sonic is his alter-ego. To promote the Sonic game series, a manga series of works featuring Sonic was serialized in Shogakukan's children's magazines Shogaku (Grade 1 to 6) and Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic from the April 1992 issue. Sega and Shogakukan planned the series, and all of story were written by Kenji Terada and drawn by different artists for each magazine. The serialization of the Sonic manga ended with the August 1993 issue of Shogaku magazine, and the June 1994 issue of Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic.
Amy and Charmy, who first appeared in this work, were later used in a game.
