Overview

Manga Time Kirara MAX (まんがタイムきららMAX) is a 4-panel manga magazine published by Houbunsha. B5 format, stitched binding. Abbreviated as Kirara MAX or MAX.

This is a sister magazine of Manga Time Kirara. Launched in 2004 as an extra issue of Kirara, and became an independent publication in the same year.

Among the Manga Time Kirara series, the magazine's serialised works are characterised by relatively avant-garde works and works dealing with unorthodox subjects, as well as many works concentrating on the 'moe' element of the high road, since the magazine has a number of major animated works. It is the only magazine in the Kirara series to have a reader's contribution column.
