Overview
Within the Pikmin series any Pikmin that are treated badly by the player will die.
At that time, the Pikmin will become ghosts and have sparkling silhouettes.
The Color of Deceased Pikmin
Pikmin
The GameCube version their ghosts is light blue regardless of the color of the deceased Pikmin.
In the Wii version, red is red-purple to blue, yellow is yellow to blue, and blue is blue to light blue.
Pikmin 2
Common to both GameCube and Wii, the colors of deceased Pikmin are displayed individually.
Also, unlike the previous title, the animation moves shakily, and disappears with a twinkle of light. Its ghost becomes a sad face.
Also, Bulbmin is treated as an enemy, with a shimmering ascending animation.
Pikmin 3
Same as Pikmin 2. However, the ghosts of Rock Pikmin and Winged Pikmin are slightly different.
