Overview
Psychic type, known in Japan as esper type (エスパータイプ, esupā taipu), is a type in the Pokémon series. Pokémon may have one to two types, and one type is always a technique.
The affinity of the type is one of the factors that determine the advantage or disadvantage of the battle.
This is one of the types that have appeared since the first generation.
Pokémon with psychic, paranormal, or celestial motifs tend to be classified as this type.
