Overview
Star Fox (スターフォックス, Sutā Fokkusu) is a shooting game by Nintendo.
Instead of the 2D type game in which you control your own fighter plane from above (or right beside) it, which was mainstream on the Famicom, the Super FX chip (a circuit that enhances the three-dimensional rendering direction) installed in the ROM cartridge, allows you to control your own fighter plane flying in a 3D space from a more subjective angle.
It was also the first 3D game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
