Overview
Animal Crossing , or Animal Forest (どうぶつの森, Dōbutsu no Mori) as known in Japan, is a series of video games where the player character can enjoy a heartwarming life in a village, strolling through the village, furnishing their own house to make it livable, and interacting with other residents.
In Japan the title is often abbreviated as is Domori (どう森). Since Domori has become a major abbreviation for the name, it has also become a major abbreviation for the series.
The later titles in the series are also often abbreviated as something like "XXmori".
