Overview
Super Mario (スーパーマリオ, Sūpā Mario), alternatively called Super Mario Bros. (スーパーマリオブラザーズ, Sūpā Mario Burazāzu) or just Mario (マリオ, Mario) is a series of platformers by Nintendo staring Mario, a character who is also the mascot of Nintendo.
The Super State
Super Mario can also refer to when Mario is powered up after taking the Super Mushroom. His body becomes bigger and he can push up brick blocks and smash them. Even if he touches an enemy, he will return to normal Mario and will not make a mistake.
In 2D action games, this is the form Mario takes when powered up, but in 3D action games, it is often the default form.
