    Darkspine Sonic (ダークスパインソニック Dākusupain Sonikku) is a transformation of Sonic the Hedgehog during the final phase of Sonic and the Secret Rings.

    Sonic, who saw Alf Layla wa-Layla, who had become an imperfect monster after Erazor Djinn's plan to sacrifice the seven World Rings and Sonic to become a perfect body failed, absorbed the World Rings to stop him and accidentally transformed himself by taking the "flame of judgment" stuck in his chest.
