Overview
Ground type (じめんタイプ, kakutō taipu) is a type in the Pokémon series. Pokémon may have one to two types, and one type is always a technique.
The affinity of the type is one of the factors that determine the advantage or disadvantage of the battle.
This is one of the types that have appeared since the first generation.
As the name suggests, Pokémon that excel at physical attacks such as punching are classified as this type. In addition, many other types are based on the motif of exercise such as martial arts and sports, and the fist symbol is used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Go.
