Pink Hair
In reality, dying your hair in pink might not be a good idea considering the discomfort and the possibility of damaging your hair.
Like green、blue、red and others, while it may look aesthetically acceptable or appealing in anime, the reality however will be another story. The same case applies to eyes as well. It is recommended that you use a wig instead of dying your hair if you are to dye your hair for cosplay purposes. For example, you may refer here. (Japanese, though)
Image wise, pink colored hair is usually applied on females characters and sometimes male characters. For character designs, while most of pink haired female characters are loli type, it may also used for sexy type characters. Megurine Luka is one of the examples who spot a pink hair, which is also one of her trademarks.
Also, while most female characters with pink hairs are depicted with an image of underaged characters with an innocent look, there are also quite a number of characters with innocent look but also sexy body. In this case, people will often use the "Pink is Slutty" image as a classification, which is borderline-stereotypical, although one might argue otherwise.
Since there are also various types of pink around (e.g: Shocking Pink, Pastel Pink, Peach Pink, etc), this tag is used to categorize all types of pink colored hair characters in general and to label them under one single, unified color to prevent unnecessary confusion.
