Overview
Sonic and the Black Knight (ソニックと暗黒の騎士 Sonikku to Ankoku no Kishi, lit. "Sonic and the Knight of Darkness") is the second in a Sonic Storybook Series based on real-life stories.
This time, Sonic is in the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. This is the first time Sonic fights mainly with a weapon (if you include Shadow the Hedgehog, it is not the first time in the Sonic series itself). This is also the first game in the series in which Dr. Eggman does not appear.
Music
Many songs from the Sonic Adventure series are used as arrangements, for example, the blacksmith's song is Believe In Myself, the main theme of Tails from Sonic Adventure. The music for the latter stage, Knights Passage, is an arrangement of the last stage, Cannon's Core, from Sonic Adventure 2.
In addition, the BGM of the stage is changed by equipping medals, which can be obtained along the way.
