Overview
Sonic R (ソニックR Sonikku R) is a 3D racing game in the Sonic series released on Sega Saturn hardware. Unlike Nintendo's Mario Kart, the characters Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles run on their own feet.
This was the last time Amy Rose appeared in her old design.
Synopsis
One day, Sonic and Tails see an announcement for a World Grand Prix, a competition to determine the fastest man in the world.
Sonic is not interested, but he finds Dr. Eggman's name among the participants and joins. Knuckles is determined to settle the score with Sonic, Amy is convinced that Sonic will show up, and Dr. Eggman secretly prepares several secret weapons.
