Pink

Pink (ピンク) is a color. Sometimes called peach.

Overview

Pink (ピンク, pinku) is one of the colors and tones, and is defined as "soft red" in the JIS color standard.

On pixiv, this tag is attached to illustrations that mainly use pink.

Pink itself can be created by mixing red and white. There are also various variations depending on the shade.

In the case of computer graphics, it is possible to create a pink-like color by mixing red with a blue component.

Pink is often treated as a color that symbolizes femininity, and is often used as an image color for products targeted to women. This is not to say that companies have decided that women prefer pink, but that sales are actually high. The reason is said to be that women are good at reading people's facial expressions and minds, and they prefer the pink color associated with a baby's cheeks.

In the Super Sentai series, pink is generally the personal color of female characters (however, in some works, white, an approximation of pink, is used, and there are many heroines who are responsible for other colors, including yellow.
