『Jack-the-Ripper◆』とは、sasakure.UK(ささくれP)の楽曲である。
曲名の由来は実在したと言われる殺人鬼『ジャック・ザ・リッパー』こと切り裂きジャック。『◆』も含めて曲名である。BMS譜面の中には、この『◆』を再現した物も存在するのだが……。
楽曲の初出はBMSイベント「THE BMS OF FIGHTERS2009」(BOF2009)、個人戦スコア部門で準優勝という記録を残している。
後にmaimai、chunithm、オンゲキにも収録された。
同じイベントで個人戦スコア部門優勝の『DRAGONLADY』もmaimaiに収録されている。
後述関連タグにもあるジャック・ザ・リッパー(Fate)のイラストなどに、こちらのタグが使われているケースが多い(投稿されている半数以上は、こちらの現象によるもの)。
本来のJack-the-Ripper◆を発見する場合は、「Jack-the-Ripper BMS」のような検索を推奨する。
ジャック・ザ・リッパー(Fate)：こちらのイラストにこのタグがつけられているケースも散見されている。理由はJacktheRipperのタグがないために代案として使用している可能性が高い。
